What are the recreational soccer costs?
Currently, the registration cost is $80 for standard registration. Early registration periods may include a discount when advertised. Uniforms are an additional cost ($70 when purchased with a registration) but usually may be used for multiple seasons unless it is the final season of a uniform cycle. Additional uniform items and spare’s will be available for additional purchases throughout the season. Contact your Coach or Age Group Director for more information.
How do I register my child to play soccer?
You can register your child either online (PREFERRED) or in person at the Gallatin Soccer Club concession stand located at Triple Creek Park in Gallatin, TN. Online registration is generally open the entire month of July for the Fall season and January for the Spring season.
Our in person sign-ups are usually held ONE SATURDAY MORNING (TBD) during those respective months for each season. Watch for website updates for exact dates/times of in person signups and for dates when on-line signups are active. Also make sure you follow Gallatin Soccer Club on social media and watch social media outlets for updates on dates and times.

The Gallatin Soccer Club Recreational Soccer is our in-house league for both boys and girls focusing on what we call "Developmental Play".
Our Recreational environment spans a wide range of age groups while being one of the highest attended programs in the region. Players take part in practices and games during our two designated seasonal programs each year. (Fall/Spring).
Games take place at our home, Triple Creek Park Gallatin
Some older teams U16 and up may occasionally play at other local venues against neighbouring clubs in a friendly recreational environment that does not amount to the competitive/travel requirements.
Players who play in our Rec program may also be eligible to take part in supplementary training through our "Rec Cadets" program for additional training opportunities alongside the recreation season 6/8 Weeks approx.

Player Registration
If you already have a PlayMetrics account, please ensure you add players to your account.
If you have multiple players playing Recreational Soccer you can register them by selecting ALL those players and proceeding.
You may have multiple players in your account, some of which may play Recreational Soccer and others that may play competitive. Be careful when choosing your players to register to programs. Please do not select any players that are already registered for our Competitive Rangers Program at this time.
Uniforms & Ordering Process
For Recreational Players, our uniforms will be set up as a mandatory line item in the registration package showing the FEE during registration in years where the new kit cycle begins.
This means that ALL players will be required to order uniforms during this Registration process for the Fall 2026 Season.
(Fall 2026 will see us begin a new 2 year cycle that lasts until Fall 2028)
In Spring 2027 you will NOT be required to purchase a new uniform during registration if you have done so in fall 2026. You will have the option if desired using a package option that will be displayed. In the Player questions area you will be able to answer a question asking if you need to order....and then choose sizing.
ALL NEW players in Spring that did not take part in Fall 2026 MUST purchase a uniform at that time.
For the Fall 2026 Registration you will be required to choose Jersey & Sock sizes during registration. GSC will order the sizes that have been ordered and you will only be given what you have chosen in your player questions. Replacement kits will cost $90 for the full kit due to special orders having to be placed outside our purchase window.
Players will provide their own Plain/Solid Black shorts.
Wearing the current seasons uniforms on game day is MANDATORY
Players that do not have the required game kit on game day for any reason will be asked to rent a club issue pinny/vest and charged a $5.00 deposit. Referees will not approve players that are not wearing either the official uniform or a club issue Pinny/Vest.

Our new fall 2026 HOME KITS ARE the lighter uniforms with WHITE/Green accents & Away kits are dark green with White/gold Accents.
The Home teams are listed first in each match fixture, HOME Versus AWAY.

By moving to this platform we are ensuring that GSC is advancing our operations to handle the success and growth of our club and the rising participants in youth soccer today. In addition, TN State Soccer Association has also transitioned to this world leading sports management platform. HERE’S SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR SEASONAL RECREATIONAL PROGRAM!
What age bracket does my player… play in?
Take a look at our handy age matrix chart to see where they fall!, find the birth year on the left then see the season columns across the top! In fall 2026 TN Soccer adopted the Age Groups that are called Seasonal Year to closely match with the age groups that reflect a players grade according to birth date at the seasonal year starting point. (Aug 1-July 31) At GSC we form teams that place players in the most appropriate level and age based on the range of players in our program at the time teams maybe formed.
At GSC players will play in our KR program beginning with Size 3 balls.
Though size 2 & 1 are great for at home and learning control and foot skills we advise getting players used to the size 3 game balls used in play.
WHAT SIZE BALL SHOULD PLAYERS HAVE?

Dates / Sign-Ups: GSC has both a Fall AND Spring recreational season. Sign-ups for our recreational league are in July for the Fall season and January for the Spring season. You can visit our Registration page for more information OR to register on-line (for applicable players) during the sign-up period.

Your $80 registration pays for registration of the player with the Tennessee State Soccer Association, secondary insurance, practices run by a volunteer coach, 7 games refereed by certified officials, end of season trophy/medal, and professional picture session (prints optionally purchased at additional cost).

The $70 uniform fee (when purchased with a registration) includes TWO numbered Gallatin Soccer Club jersey shown above (NEW for FALL 2026) and one pair of color coordinated soccer socks.
By using two jerseys, players only need to replace their uniforms when they grow out of them or when GSC has a style change.
Currently GSC is running on TWO YEAR uniform cycles. Players MUST. wear their complete uniform to participate in games.
Black shorts will need to be purchased separately... Replacement socks and kits may be purchased on game days.

Equipment: Players must provide their own shin guards which are *ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED* to participate in either games OR practices. Soccer cleats or athletic shoes are acceptable. If cleats are worn they should be actual soccer cleats without the toe cleat. Please note that metal cleats or spikes are NOT allowed. It is also nice if players can provide their own ball. While coaches often have some extra, generally they cannot supply enough for the entire team. The list below shows what size soccer ball is used in each division.

Your registration fee provides secondary medical insurance that covers injuries incurred at sanctioned GSC practices and games after you have paid the deductible, up to the policy’s limits.

Your coach will contact you about your practice time(s) within a week after coaches meeting. Coaches do get to have input into the time and days or their practices.

Games generally are played at Triple Creek Park Soccer Complex, 250 Champion Drive, Gallatin, TN. Game are rarely cancelled or rain delayed. Please come to the field at your scheduled game time unless advised by your coach that your game has been delayed/cancelled. You may call the information line at 615-451-3116 or check the website as rainout or delayed information will be recorded and posted by 7:30am on Saturday morning of game days. Our home page also displays LIVE information on field status as it is updated.
Note* – U18 games are played against other clubs both at Triple Creek Park and at other Middle Tennessee venues.
